Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy


This second level training in Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT) is designed for professionals who have completed foundational CBPT education and are ready to deepen their clinical expertise. The course focuses on advanced therapeutic strategies, integration with complementary models, and the development of tailored interventions for children with diverse emotional and behavioral needs.

Play Therapy Models & EMDR Integration: Examine leading play therapy frameworks and learn how to blend EMDR techniques with CBPT to support trauma-informed work.
Advanced Case Conceptualization: Use theory and practical worksheets to map a child’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors onto clear, measurable treatment goals.
Defining Therapeutic Objectives: Develop targeted objectives for children with behavioral and internalizing disorders, utilizing CBPT guidelines and goal-setting worksheets.

She's a registered psychologist working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in private practice. She is a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor, a certified EMDR therapist, and a consultant-in-training.
